What To Wear To Formal

What To Wear To Sorority Formal at The Honey Scoop

It’s formal season, and that means that all of you are hitting the online shopping world to find the perfect Spring dress. I remember freshman year I was struggling to find something, as well as my friends. Since it was my first formal, I wanted to look my best, and I was certainly adding some pressure to myself. So that’s why I want to help y’all out in the process. After all, if you look good, you feel good.

So whether or not this is a formal for your sorority, or any other college organization, you can take some tips from below.

Dresses

These dresses above are perfect for any formal. Whether it’s lace, over-the-shoulder, or classy, you are in for a good option. It’s best to wear shorter dresses, because formals aren’t too formal to the point where everyone is wearing gowns. I found that last year most people were sticking to cute, trendy dresses. I saw some girls even wearing jumpsuits, so if you want to take that initiative, I would totally support you! There is nothing better than a cute jumpsuit (amiright?).

Shoes

You guys know how much I love shoes, and what I love more is recommending them to others. Here are some heels I came up with, between baby heels to high and sassy ones. I recommend wearing simple heels, and a lot of these shoes you can wear for several different occasions. You can never go wrong with a versatile shoe.

Accessories

I added some fun statement pieces here, but just make sure you don’t overdo it. If you’re dress is simple, it’s best to spice things up with earrings that have character. But if you’re dress has a lot going on, simple pearls or studs would be a good move. I also really love those stud earrings, and I find that the glimmer from those could add to the formal look you are going for.

There you go! Hopefully by now you have stopped stressing about what you’re going to wear, and can enjoy the lovely night ahead of you.

Xoxo,

Ash
