I always dreamed to write a book. So younger me is screaminggg right now. Here’s what I learned though: Writing a book is hard. But here’s what else I learned: it is oh so worth it.

“Ash, you wrote a book?! Give me all the deets!”
After going through a very long and painful season and journey of trusting God and giving Him control, I realized that the same things kept coming up over and over for all of us: doubt, fear of the future, struggling to hear God’s voice, comparison, and a deep desire to know if we are really following God’s plan for our lives. It all became so achingly clear --- that if God is not changing your situation, He is likely trying to change you.
Let me say something that I think might surprise you: this book was not the easiest to write. In fact, it is one of the most vulnerable things I’ve ever done.

That's what this book is for. It's the guidebook to not only get through the difficult waiting season you’re walking through, but to enjoy where God has you RIGHT where you are.
This is everything I would tell myself going through the depths and pain of being in the waiting room for God’s promises to finally happen in my life. Full of encouraging reminders and guidance to keep you going and help you live with purpose in a season that looks less than ideal, to making the most of the season God has you in right now.
Because the mountaintop is coming, and this difficult season will end, but how exactly do we endure the difficulties we face, now? We need to cling to God and let Him be our joy, not rely on our circumstances. We must endure this season well, knowing that if we stay faithful, God will produce a work in us that the mountaintop could never achieve. We must still choose to trust God and stay faithful, even if it feels like the waiting season is never going to end.
