Dear Anon,

This question is near and dear to my heart. My faith wasn’t always a part of my life, but ever since I have learned to know God for who He is, I have never been the same. I am a completely different person now because of my faith, and it has changed how I look at every day life.

Jesus has given me many amazing things, but one of those I hold close to my heart is peace. My whole life I have struggled with worrying about things that I shouldn’t worry about. Even on my soccer team back in elementary school, my coach pulled me aside and said “Ashley, you over think everything!”

So for most of my life, I was naturally a worrier. But ever since I started a relationship with Jesus, He has taught me that I have nothing to worry about. He has amazing plans for me, plans to prosper me and not to harm me. When things happen that I don’t want to happen, I try my hardest to put my trust in the fact that He is God and He knows so much better than I do. He can see the finish line, whereas I can only see the first 100 yards in front of me.

Peace and comfort are what God gives me. He gives me a sense of joy that I can’t even contain. And best of all, He has revealed to me that my purpose here on earth is to make the world a little brighter, to never stop loving and serving others. And truthfully, I have never been happier in my life because of that impact.

As for the second question, this can be quite the dilemma! I am thinking you are wondering for winter fashion, so I will give a few examples of what I like most. Booties are great because you can basically where them with anything. I like to wear booties most with a cute pair of skinny jeans and a feminine, flowy top.

Here are some cute booties outfits that I love for this season.

As for high boots, one could really wear basically the same outfit as one would wear with booties. Right now, I am really into the over the knee boots. I am seeing them everywhere and I really want to get into the trend. There aren’t really any set in stone things you can’t wear with high boots or booties, because these shoes you can basically wear with anything. So good news! Whether you have booties or tall boots, you are bound to work any outfit this winter.
