Rejection is such a tough issue that we all face. If you haven’t struggled with rejection, you just may not be human.
The question is, how much do we let feeling rejected run our lives? Do we live everyday afraid of people liking us or not? What do we truly have to be afraid of?
Without a doubt, rejection stings. It hurts our self image and it can even do more damage to how we feel God sees us.
The truth is, no matter how many times you have been rejected, God will never ever reject you. You are loved perfectly, you are valued, you are unique, and you were made to be loved tremendously and fully.
Rejection happens. But living your life feeling rejected is a waste of time. You are not doing yourself justice. If you let rejection ruin your self image, you are not going to live out the purpose God has set out for your life. You don’t need anyone’s approval but the Lord’s, and He already loves you perfectly.
God’s love and acceptance is already available for you. All you have to do is believe it. This is half the battle- having faith.
You think that just because one person rejects you, everyone will. That you will never find friends who love you or a spouse who will pursue you.
But that is just not true! Those friends were just not right for you, that guy was a miss, and that job was not right for you to begin with. These rejections do not define you, they just draw you closer to the one who accepts you completely.
And in our rejection, God can shine. You can help others who struggle with the same loneliness you have struggled with. You can let God work through you and make a serious impact on others.
Instead of focusing on your feelings, choose to embrace God’s wonderful plan for you life. Have faith in his promises, and have faith in your purpose.
Do not live in fear. Instead, live in faith. Your new beginning is just waiting for you.
