This is an episode for those of you who don’t really know how eat healthy or live a healthy lifestyle. And if that’s you – trust me, you are not alone.

This past year, I was eating horribly. I was coping with things through eating Chick Fil A. On top of that, I rarely moved my body and I got barely 6 hours of sleep a night. When I got home from my second semester of my junior year of college, I saw that I gained 20 lbs. This is when I knew something needed to change.

When I hung out with Zahra this summer, I so admired how she lived a healthy lifestyle. She ate incredible meals, stayed in shape, and took care of herself. But Zahra wasn’t always this way.

She shared with me how she overcame her eating disorder, and I saw that through her recovery, her wisdom on health is something everyone needs to hear.

Zahra actually wrote a book about How To Start Your Balanced Health Journey – and she discusses how to start your healthy lifestyle from square one, signs of an eating disorder, and how not to make the beginning of your health journey without developing unhealthy habits.
