How To Master Going To Class Before/After A Workout

There is without a doubt a struggle with looking cute in class after/before the gym. I know some girls want to look cute in class, and they don’t want to look like they just sweat their butts off.

I personally don’t go to the gym during school days, in fact I rarely go to the gym ever (just to be honest), but I do have friends that carry on with this lifestyle. Usually they will go to the gym sometime in the morning and then head to their classes, or they will be in workout clothes all day in class and then hit the gym after. Or, if you are a speed racer, maybe you will go in between classes. And if you are in that category, I give you mad credit.

I have found that in college, some people nail the cute workout wear look. There is definitely a guideline here. First, let’s hit the beauty supplies.

1. For The Hair: Dove Dry Shampoo

I swear by this dry shampoo. After a whole session of sweating at the gym, you might have the look of wet hair. You certainly don’t want that cute boy in your lecture class to see you in this state. Therefore, it’s best for you to spray this on your scalp after your workout. And remember, less is more with this product. Make sure to run your fingers through your scalp after applying it so you can avoid looking like you have gray hairs (we cannot have that, can we?!).

2. For Acne: Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes

If you are prone to acne, you may find you breakout after you go to the gym and not take a shower directly afterward. These wipes will be your saving grace when you have 3+ classes to get to and have absolutely no time to wash up. I suggest you apply these wipes to your face or any other acne-prone area to prevent future breakouts.

3. For Smell: Body Mist

If you don’t want to stink up your classroom, I would suggest you give yourself a couple sprays of this product before you leave the gym. This body mist will leave you feeling fresh and clean so you can tackle the day ahead.

Now that we have clarified the beauty aspect to leave you feeling confident on your way to class, we can transition on to the outfits. The ensembles we want to look for are ones that can look cute in the gym but also in the classroom.

1. The Ball Cap Look

I find that any outfit can look 100x cuter with a ball cap. Does anyone agree? You can wear a cute pair of leggings and a tee to the gym, and if your hair is not cooperating after your difficult workout, a ball cap can be your saving grace for the day.

2. Wear Something Neon

I find that bright colors always have a way of making a person look cuter!

3. Layer A Sweatshirt and Add A Pair Of Pearls

If you are wearing a workout shirt that you wouldn’t want to wear to class, you can throw on an adorable sweatshirt over it to give your look a casual feel. Also, this method will for sure hide any embarrassing sweat marks. To top it all off, the addition of the pearls gives your look a more feminine feel.

Overall, looking cute for class after/before time at the gym can be difficult, but once you get the hang of it, this lifestyle is easy to master!

Make sure, above all else, you wear what you feel most comfortable in. This advice comes from what I see on a college campus, but with confidence in what you are wearing, you can work anything you want!
